Studio Makai is a branding project I did for my brand as I wanted to make a brand where I make designs, videos, and photos for people within a specific style. The brand represents a flowy and beach-like style geared towards companies with the same style. like: surf brands, professional surfers, coffee shops, skincare brands, jewelry brands, and many other brands that have the same vision
For this project I wanted to: create a brand, create a logo and social assets, and create the social channels, the website, and the banners for socials.
For this project, I used Illustrator, procreate, Figma, and Elemetor to make everything that was needed.
The challenge with this project was creating a brand that aligns with my dream clients. I wanted to create a brand that attracts the clients that I would like to work with the most.
To get the brand in this style I combined a simplistic design and a name that represents the style of clients I want. Makai means “towards the sea” This lines up with the style I like: Simplistic, organic, soft, and kind.
During this project, I improved my research skills, my photoshop skills and my web design skills.
